Re: saved a sick Argentine boa

Personally i think he/she is doing much better but won't know for sure until Monday when the 2 week check up is scheduled. He/she has eaten for me and is now going into shed.

The vet thinks we're going to be a-okay! Only time will tell because he was thrashing too much to get blood drawn but the heart and lungs sound good and inside of mouth and throat are clear!

Good news! Maybe next time he'll cooperate better.

Re: saved a sick Argentine boa

I usually leave mine for about an hour, but if they still smell like vinegar then I leave them until the smell goes away.

Re: saved a sick Argentine boa

It smelled like bleach more than anything so i left it for a full 24 hours before putting FAUSTINO(decided on a name its a Spanish word that the Argentinians use it means lucky or good fortuned) back in his new enclosure. He seemed very intrigued i dont think hes ever had bedding in his life only carpet....
