Yellow Anaconda piss smells like a super strong tuna. The smell is almost impossible to get rid of and will lingers for days.

I have to concur with metalcopper. Definitely a regurge..... to date, its the worst smelling thing ever coming from a snake. And the smell lingers

A large f/t rat was left in my Dumeril's tank on the heat pad over night... need I say more? lol
Also.. A juvenile female blood (aprox. 2 1/2 feet. I soaked her for a while and let her get some exercise. The amount of poop that came out of this snake was the same as what my 50 lb. dog drops and smelled far, far worse. We couldn't believe what came out of her..

Actually i think it was musk now that you mention it. Because when he pisses in his cage it does smell as bad or last as long. The reptile Bark might have something to do with the smell not being as strong. That why i use it seems to help neutralize the smell.

Seconded. I used to catch the garter snakes where I grew up (we called them water snakes, because I grew up on a lake, and they were *always* in the water.) It's a familiar smell, so it's not soo bad. It doesn't make me want to upchuck- but it is a pretty strong.... deterrent from getting e'tten. They thrived on the lake, because predators didn't want anything to do with the musk.
Perhaps I'm weird, but I like the natural smell of my snake and his tank. You know, when he hasn't pooped in it. It's calm smelling- for lack of a better description.

Ah, what exactly is that natural snake smell like? And how much worse is it when the snake poops?
Also, what's the garter musk smell like? I still have never smelled it myself.
