she bit me i think once or maybe twice the day we got her.
she was in blue, so im going to assume she couldnt see. nor was she used to my scent.
it didnt hurt, actually, i barely felt it.
lol not sure it works that way .

maybe she knows he is terrified and that makes her uneasy? I am not sure if this is true or not it's just a theory.
snakes can be more aggressive in the preshed mode with the cloudy eyes and possible that she was also not use to being handled yet at the same time

yeah, you're right. that's why im part of multiple forums. but i still like this one the best. if i have a dumb question, i just pm a moderator. (;

and yeah haha, but i cant imagine being all curled and tangled up in fake plastic plants being comfy. i wish they would use the silk plants i got them /: They both enjoyed their silk plants until i went out and decided to get them both long plastic plants.
spoiled snakes, i swear.

Re: smooth Green

This is def the best forum around i love it

well if they are spoiled then atleast you know they are happy and enjoying themselves lol
they will use the silk ones at some point im sure but the longer plastic probably makes them feel safer then a smaller plant thats just my opinion

its awesome, easy to work. at first i was confused, because i never used a forum before. but i got the hang of it.
if you take away the negativity, it would be perfect!

and yeah, your right. i actually thought i lost turbo the other day. i couldnt find him, dug up all the substrate, and then im almost in tears because im freaking out cant find him, he was in the damnn plant.

Re: smooth Green

lol they can be confusing at first but once past that they are pretty simple
I personally have not had a problem with anyone on here before but in my opinion i think sometimes ppl just get caught up in the debate on the topic

haha it is simply amazing how a snake can disappear into almost nothing at all .
even as little as a clump of grass. there is a bike trail here and in the summer days we find 30+ snakes in 4 hrs its amazing how many ppl walk past them not even noticing them laying there which i don't think is a bad thing for the snakes.

i see people argue with eachother all the time. sometimes i wonder if they actually know eachother.

yeah it is, i though i looked in it, but he blended in, of course :P
thats pretty cool!
i remember walking the canal near my old house, and seeing a 6ft snake black rat snake. scared the crap outta me, didnt know what it was at first. it rattld its tail in the leaves (turbine did this when we first got her, i thought it was adorable) trying to be a rattlesnake :P

Re: smooth Green

Yeah me too!! lol

right you start to panic and going crazy then oh there you are lol
sometimes i think the babies are just fearless at times lol
but then again in the wild sometimes you have to be to survive and you have to know when to run and hide and how to bluff your way out of danger all at the same time.
I agree or your fiance will never hold her if she bites him lol
