I think I start to melt when the temp hits 70...I'm evil when the temp gets to 80. I love 30-40 degrees.

Thats why we heat the whole house with a wood stove. $20 in gas for the chainsaw all year and my house is kept at a very warm 30. Although we do go through a ton of dollar store spray bottles because the air gets so dry.

Put a cast iron kettle of water on the stove.. I did that in my old house to help with the dry air. Kettle cost me about $20 but it was the best $20 I ever spent

We do have a large pot on top of the stove but we still need to spray (especially when we fire it up first thing and got the initial blast of heat). We also need to spray to keep most of the cages nice and humid. On the other hand the bearded dragons love it
