Actually its not the same...there is no feces.
Boas defacate a day or two before they give birth like clockwork.You get babies and the afterbirth soup.

@Jack C--Of the several litters I have had over the years,I have noticed a smell before finding the babies,but its not a strong/offensive smell.

Is that the only time they will defecate even if they have eaten during the gravid stage?

No...its not.They will defecate during the gravid stage if they have eaten.Just not as often I have found.

I do not feed during the last month of gestation.Don't want to risk them going premature.

So I see the odd urate here and there,but thats it until a day or two before.

Mine is also 8 days late now I finally worked it out but I have read that some go longer, I am getting worried now that I imagined the whole thing.
