Re: The retics

Where do you work? Do they have a website?

You work for a breeder or do you just bring them to work lol?

I work for a reptile shop, and we also have a display premises aswell. We don't have a website though. I breed them myself, and also have the animals in the shop and then our display animals that we keep aswell. All the retics are at mine though.

Re: The retics

I think I might have to have a holiday for a week at yours lol.
Not sure my wife would see the funny side.

I just can't get over the shear amount you have you must work 25 hours a day to maintain them lol.

It really doesn't take much maintenance now, the big snakes get fed once a month on large food, the smaller snakes are done weekly, and spot cleaning is done every day, only takes around an hr to spot clean everything, a full clean out takes a good days work though, but a full clean is only necessary every 4 to 8 weeks depending on the set up. Once you have a proper schedule and routine sorted it is easy enough to keep on top of everything.

Looks like the first one had a bad shed? but I guess you always get it off right away because they always look loads better.

Nah he did shed in one piece, but he had wrapped it around everything, and thats the hot side so it dried pretty quick, so when i removed it a lot of it broke off and ripped, i tend to just bin them now anyway unless they are complete sheds at a decent size without any breaks. They normally shed well, but if i miss them coming in to shed and miss the heavy spray they can shed a bit patchy, but when that happens i remove it straight away, normally a spray down and a handle is enough to get the last bits off. But it is rare i miss the heavy spray when they come into blue.

Re: The retics

That's cool bit like me but I only have 5 snakes! I keep a regular eye on them and they have never had a bad shed. I have 2 in shed right now my male bci 4 year old 5 and a half feet is in the blue. And my female 10 month old 3 foot bci is just out of blue so should shed on Sunday at latest.
