I had a ball python when I was a kid. If I remember correctly, he was around 4-5 feet. That's the largest I've had, and maybe the largest I am comfortable with.
Thanks, he's been with me since 2010 I'm pretty sure he's a 2009 though and I never personally sexed him. We got him from a pet shop (for shame I know) and he came to me branded a 'male' Since I'm really not interested in breeding them I let it go, He's probably around 4ft and very thick. I make sure he gets exercise as silly as that sounds.
All of mine get a decent bit of exercise, some more than others.
My male royal was bought from a pet store and he's always done great. I've never had him sexed as it really doesn't matter to me since I'm never going to breed. All my other animals have been sexed as females. He's the only one that hasn't been sexed. But going by his growth and personality, I say he's a male. He goes off feed during breeding season, plus he's just a little bigger than my female that's a 2011.
He's on the left and she's on the right.

My biggest is my 9 foot, 15.5 lbs 11 year old Jungle Carpet. Her and my 4 foot Borneo and 7.5 foot Yellow anaconda all eat one 2X jumbo rat every two weeks.
