Hey Boa Maniac,
It's a shame that you ran out of luck.
Hope things get better in the near future.
Whish I could help you with some mice or rats, but I live in the Netherlands.
Good luck and let us know how things are going.

did
You ever think thoug that maybe just MAYBE Boa Mania does have 600 snakes that oculd be sold but because they may or may not be in condition he would rather take the last resort and try and get some feeders as help rather than sell less than par animals? Selling one snake will not buy enough feeders to pay for even a week of food let alone a couple weeks. And maybe he doesn't have enough animals he feels confortable selling at this point.

well if i was in canada i would definately buy a snake from him
i dont know, but someone who deals in something to do with a life gets my sympathy more. i think the sale is a good idea. with the mark up on some of these places, you could probably sale them above cost and still make a small profit and STILL sell them cheaper than most places. it is a good idea in my opinion. also, like i said before, if those people help him now, maybe he could do something for them later, like a snake at cost or even a freebee at some point.
too bad the shipping from canada to here would be waaaayyyy high.

I agree. Besides when a person is kind enough to lend a helping hand...later on it can come back to them tenfold in a wonderful way.

What goes around, comes around! Too bad not more people go by this... the world might be a nicer place. Oh well! What can you do? As long as we just help out when we can and do our part when possible. Now as I've said before twiceeee...
Boa!!! We're really anxious to hear how you're doing! Please update us... Thanks!

LOL sinister I just read all your posts and you make me laugh, no offense or anything. I mean you refer to him as "less fortunate," he is not some bum of the street you know. He happened to run into a streak of bad luck, he couldn't have planned this. Like another member said, you don't understand his situation untill your in it yourself. I mean the poor guy reaches out to a community who you all say is "in it for the love of the animals." but apparently not. I mean, nevermind I am just going to end it there but think about it, put yourself in his exact situation before you slander his name, just think about it. That is all I have to said.
Hey boa I looked on kingsnake for the topic and I couldn't find it, I wanted to see the responses the certain individuals gave. Remeber I have 50 plus rat pups that are here waiting for you if you need them...

Woohoo! Wow, thanks! I always knew I could depend on the kindness of others... of course since you were saving it for mardi gras I feel that I'd be taking something from you that you really wanted... consequently I think you should keep it and save it for mardi gras! HAVE FUN! lol (phew that was close...)

Gino, if you re read, i said "taking stuff from people who are less fortunate then him" If he has 600 snakes, thats over 20'000 dollars worth of animals, the people who are donating to him, probably dont have that much equity sitting in there pocket. If he cant keep up with buisness then he should sell animals instead of mooch, #1 lesson in running your own business is dont give up, once you have given up you lost everything. There are so many ways for him to make money back to buy food. Taking pitty from people isnt one of them.

Okay you're getting confused again... it's not that he can't keep up with the business, it's that he got ripped off 2200 dollars, his store floor collapsed, and he unexpectedly had to deal with this.
