Whilst we do have a contingency for vets bills both me and my wife are disabled and have had our benefits cut to such an extent that in order to keep the two lizards fed would mean eating into the contingency for the other animals, if something then happened with one of the others we could end up in a situation where we couldnt afford vet treatment.
Believe me when i say it wasnt an easy decision to make.
