Re: Some inverts

Dragon- I've always wondered a bit about the red knee. What do you think it is?

The whip I've had for several years now. When I first got him, you could barely see him. He's grown huge.

Also, that's what we do for our GBB sling.

its not a red knee(Brachypelma smithi) what you have is a flame knee(Brachypelma auratum)

Oh be 'cheeky', Trent! Actually, it doesn't seem correct for that one either, though it definitely is a Brachy. (And to answer your Q, BB, I'm not quite sure -- just that coloring does not fit for smithii.)

I assume your Ambly has vertical walls as well? (Can't really tell from the pic.)

Yayyyyyy Bushsnake!

BB, Brachypelma is an entire genus. It's possible the seller didn't know any better. One of the reasons I dislike "common names".

Re: Some inverts

Yep, walls, crevices, different textures (wood and stone).

Re: Some inverts

Yup our red knee has a dryer tank than the others. Our area seems to be very humid for the needs of a green bottle blue...we think the first one got too cold once we moved him here....the second wasn't moist enough for being a baby. we seem to be doing okay so far with this one. I think when it starts to get it's adult coloring then we'll back off on the humidity. i just feel bad we had to learn at the other's expense!
