He *was* 9 once, but that only lasted for about a year

Oh, I agree he does *look* red in some shots, but he's actually a deep burnt orange. Orange, I tellzya...ORANGE

How come you've been been 9 for like 35 years now?

The iridescence over his orange scales makes him look red, at least that's what I see in that photo, looking at the darker colouration bordering the dorsal stripes.
On a side note, those pictures are both awesome!! He has such a nice colour and reduced pattern!

Take that renegade 9 you tossed-out earlier and add it to the 35 you mention above to get my current age, or take the 9 and add the 2 that you've known me for to get Blue's age.
