Yes it is, loosly translated it means "wise men don't speak as truth what he cannot prove"
In forum speak "pics or it didn't happen"

I hated to leave because, one, it was an interesting language, and two, the teacher was a friend of mine. Very nice, always loved talking with her. It was honestly for my own good, though.
I've, unfortunately, forgotten most of what I learned there.

I used to love studying ancient language and was thinking of taking it through uni but instead got a job at 16 and kinda lost the urge.

Re: 1,000's
I think I should add a caveat emptor (since we're talkin' dead langauges) in that one should always remember; when reading posts with actual advice in them, that the number of posts in many cases has NOTHING at all to do with intelligence, experience, or knowledge.
I have found the old adage:
"Those who have nothing intelligent to say, say it often" applies no where better than in online forums.

Re: 1,000's
I love all languages, I only wish I did when I was still in school.
It's fascinating really, language is nothing more than association of sounds.

Re: 1,000's
I tend, in person to not speak unless spoken to. I have my area of expertise, (As does everyone) On the forums however, (Since I do not know many reptile owners in person) To ask more questions and comment on the great pics that have been posted.

The software counts non registered visits and google bots, I also think if one person looks 5 times, the odometer counts to 5, so it is a skewed number.

Re: 1,000's
Ha! xD I tend to click on my page from time to time... but most of the time it's to back track to posts I've made and can't remember where I made them.
Anywho. I would have loved to continue with Latin, but I obviously couldn't. Maybe I was, also, lagging in Latin that year because I was also taking Chinese that same year... I did awesome in Chinese~ Though, I've forgotten majority of my symbols. Know how to say things, though. I may continue on with my chinese some day, but not right now.
Speaking of post count, I've always wondered about that 10,000 Poster... How'd they manage 10,000 posts? o_O
