Re: Meet my baby KSB :]
i got bit by a 5-6 foot redtail a year or two ago and THAT wasn't even very bad. i was more SHOCKED then in pain. my eyes must have been the size of quarters when he bit me. i had the job of removing him from the bathtub after he ate, and he CLEARLY was ready for rat #2, as he told my hand lol. he didn't even constrict on me, he must have known. i was totally shocked by the bite so i shook my hand alittle bit out of instinct and he let go almost immediately. (i think he got a BIT of chewing in first lol)
it felt kind of itchy and irritated for a few days because his teeth were dragging around my hand, but getting bitten is not NEARLY as bad as you would think be.
(unless you've got a hoggie trying to chew your hand off for an hour lol)
but i've only owned boas and my bp.
although i'm biased, i've spent my entire life skating and biking (and getting road rash) alittle cut or bite is not a huge deal in my eyes lol. although i do admit, when it happens, its STARTLING lol.

From personal experience, though not with snake bites, I TOTALLY agree with this. I had a sugar glider once and they'll bite with their sharp little teeth. Some are just finicky, some are frightened, but it's more of a shocking event than it is painful. It catches you by surprise.
Then again, I'm not too responsive to pain, so it could just be me.

Re: Meet my baby KSB :]
yay! cute ksb btw. I'm still a firm believer that if you dont give it a reason to your snake wont bite. I havent been tagged yet but who know, i could be very wrong.

I don't think you will get bit by your snakes unless your holding a rodent in there face while they are hungry
