I think JimmyDavid was referring to Sid Vicious jumping off the top rope and breaking his leg.. It happened on TV and it wasn't a pretty sight..

Joking, no insult but it is fake until once in a blue moon someone actually gets killed, the sad part of the highly aggressive fake world of this entertainment.

I always hate it when people use the word "fake" to describe wrestling entertainment. It takes incredible talent and athletic ability to pull off what you see as "fake" wrestling. The sport is more dangerous than any hockey or football game and just as extreme as ultimate fighting. wrestlers risk their lives almost everyday just for the sake of entertainment. I've seen first hand the sometimes life changing injuries that can occur in the ring. Some of the wrestlers live with pain everyday because they don't want to loose their contracts(that's whats happening in the WWE right now. if they become injured and need a lengthy recovery time they may loose their contract). I'm not saying that wrestling is real either but the moves, submission holds, body contact and the resulting injuries are very real even though the winner has been predetermined. I feel much better now having said this. I'm not dissing you in particular, I just hear that "fake" thing way too much.

LOL I can not believe I missed any of this thread :P
I for one hope Batista Kicks HHH's a$$ and it just might happen this time Hunter has been taking him under his wing in essence to train a new champ for the WWE.
Now as for the fake part :P stories staged but the actions very real....so who cares ![Smilie](http://www.ssnakess.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif) There showmen thats their job.

I know Sid didn't die. I meant that he got a bad injury from wrestling.
He's ok now, anyway. He did a come-back match at some canadian federation and he's ready for action again. I heard he's gonna be Big show's next partner or something (wow, that's gotta be close to 900 pounds together).

I absolutely agree with all the last posts, it's predetermined, not fake. Like good ol' JR says "How can you learn how to fall off a 20 foot ladder".
Batista and Cena are the future of the company, more so Cena, as I like to compare him to the Rock. I say this because he doesnt have the greatest wrestling skills and relies on a few trademarks to finish matches but has outstanding charisma and ring presence...for example
5 knuckle shuffle = People's Elbow
FU = Rock Bottom
You Can't See Me/Word Life taunt = People's Eyebrow
I'm personally not a huge fan of Cena, but I do respect him because outside the ring, he's a great guy and you can tell he loves being there and having fans cheer for him.
But I still don't think anyone can spit a rhyme like Kurt Angle :P

Little late on this thread. I've watch the WWF(It will never be the WWE to me, even though it was the WWWF years ago before my time) since I was 7, lol. And many of the names Tony listed in his quote I watched as a young kid and yeppers, a couple did die. So the risks are definately there. My favorate wrestlers of all times was Yokazuna(RIP) and British Bulldog. They kicked @ss. ![Smilie](http://www.ssnakess.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif) Aw, my WWF memories....
On a side note, HHH like to be the villian, so I predict he will do a 180 and pull out his imfamious sludgehammer and crack Batista's back behind the ref's back. And don't forget Flair. He's a little pain in the butt to. It could be a very interesting match, as Vince knows how to put a real Twist on things, thats for sure... I predict HHH will still rain champ by dafault.
I've watch this waaaay to long, lmao.

Ric Flair is a legend, and considering his age, he is doing an amazing job of staying with the game. His promo's are top of the industry and he's one of the best raw actors that WWE has.
As much as so many people hate him because of his age, it gives me more respect because he goes at a pace that he can keep going 3-4 times a week, allbeit its not the greatest match in the world, he still does it, which says more than a lot of guys who have called it quits @ 40

I don't like Ric Flair that much, but he's considered the best wrestler in history(along with andre)...How can you argue with that?!
