The light I bought is probably fluorecent also, it's one of the cheapest Home Depot had. I just wasn't sure if you had any problems with your setup so far, thanks for the info.

Very nice setup
I was just wondering how you secured the lid?

Man, those are so sweet. I'm also having trouble finding that particular type of rubbermaid. Hell, I'm trying to find all kinds of them. Maybe I'll just become a rubbermaid distributor *L*

Maybe those type aren't available in Canada? I went by Walmart today for Rubbermaids as well and they had tons of these, all different sizes. I picked up 3 52.43 quart ones for my babies that are coming.
They are called "Clever Latch" and they are by Rubbermaid. The size I got cost a little under $6.
Anyway, nice setup dan! It looks really nice and I agree, one of the nicest Rubbermaid setups I've seen!

I put a picture earlier how i attach it, i just drill thru the plastic . It dosent get very hot on top not hot enought to melt plastic and the snake can reach it but it isnt hot enough to hurt the snake
