Het - I boycott Smiling Buddha. They overcharge people for pretty much the same quality as you can get anywhere else. I go to Shawn at Fine Line Tattoo. He's been drilling ink for almost as long as I've been alive, and I trust him completely. Don't book with Buddha until you've paid a visit to Fine Line, trust me.
Drewlowe - It very well may be a Paul Booth design. Shawn buys tat designs from all kinds of people, so it's entirely possible.

Heres a couple of mine. They're a bit hard to see, but you get the idea. I'll see about getting better ones soon.

Wow, very nice tatoos all!
arachnomania - is that hinge on the back of your leg?
Invictus - all very nice, the first is my favorite, I also really like the phantom, it's one of my favorite books, the musical is great too.
drewlowe - grandmas are the best! hopefully you won't have to finish your tat for a long, long time.

Nicola: I really lucked out on the price of the tat. My tattoo artist grossly underestimated the time it would take to complete. He thought it would only take 7 or 8 hours and quoted me 500$. It ended up taking over 15 hours to complete and he didn't change the price

Drewlowe, the tat you got for your grandma is really nice... I love vine tats on hands and feet.... I just don't think I've got the pain threshold to get one myself.

You are seriously lucky. That almost makes me sick to my stomach
:medpuke: I have to pay $100 an hour. That would have cost me $1500 dollars. Damn that's a deal!
All my tats are celtic and traditional emblems. I have a T from the Book of Kells on my shoulder with a county spiral underneath and an arm band of King Solomans knot. On my other shoulder I have a interpritation of a dragon drawn by Courtney Davis in her book on King Arther. The tounge comes out of the mouth and forms a series of knot work. TB

Well, I may as well post mine, I apologize for the cruddy quality of the pics though, I took them with a webcam:

This one hurt like HELL!

This one is on my right arm, the idiot that did it scarred me

This one is on my left arm. It took 3 hours. I was quoted at $100 for one hour, so, that's all I paid.

This one I did myself. It's on my left ankle. I may as well practice on myself since I'd rather not screw up on someone else!

This one is on my lower outer right calf. It was supposed to be Japanese and mean Dragon, but, I was misinformed. Apparantly it's Chinese and I still really don't know what it means. *shrug*

And...this one is right about the Chinese Character.
