makin a site what do you think?

This is not your thread, once you hit post it became public.

I know you have made mistakes and the whole purpose of making them is to learn from them. So learn from them. All of us, including myself, have made mistakes and learned from them. ANy advice we give here is to help you not to make the same ones we did. If you can learn from our mistakes you won;t make the same ones we did. But it seems you have to do it your way and refuse our advice and make the same mistakes we did. Only the animals suffer.

And you can always buy another reptile.......Right?

IM trying to learn from them. But people out there like you are giving me a bad name saying i got 3 snakes in a couple months. Giving me crap DEFINATELY isnt going to help me learn ill tell you that

When I got my retic at such a young age, it WAS a mistake. I am not doing this to bash him. I advised him not to get the burm, and gave him my mistake to learn from. He refused the advice and went ahead and got it anyway.

THe retic lived out his life at a farm in PA after he reached a length that was too large for me to handle even with three people with me. He died several year ago at the age of 22. The person who took him from me just contacted me last month after reading some of my posts on this and other forums. THe retic was 26' and over 350 lbs when he passed.

I think the site is a good start. I know over the coming months you will redo it again and again. I know I did You'll be sitting eating dinner and all of the sudden you get an idea for a new format for the pages and you'll just have to change it. I think I finally got my site where I want it to be for now. I know I'll redo it in the future, but for now it works.

Although I would try toning down the background a little. It is kind of overpowering to the eyes and distracts from the sites content.

As far as the pics of the retic, I am currently awaiting them. He has to take the negatives to the photo shop and have them put onto disc before he can email them to me. I hope he can do this by Sunday as on Monday I leave for a year and won't be online except to send emails to fmaily and friends.


Snakemann87, keep workig on the site. Gather as much information as you can for it. Post links to numerous caresheets for each species. I think it was ZOE who was doing that. But make sure to get permission first before posting the links

Reptile1, I've read almost all your posts and on most of them you talk about your site being so much better. If you don't like SsnakesS and the people on it, leave and stop complaining.
