the red is better, if you can add something like shadow or highlight the upper or lower part of the font... :S

lol I agree a flag would look awesome aswell but i feel the community is now more of a international one and with a huge flag it gives some people the vibe that if they arent canadian they cant post here, which is the complete opposite of the truth

If that's happening then Ok. You know better. You could put smaller herps (Tarantulas, lizards, Scorpions) at the empty space on the left top to show that ssnakess is not only for snake fans.
