Im going to try feeding on a more frequent basis with smaller rats and see how that goes.

I appreciate that you are able to take constructive criticism in stride and make changes to better your animal. Everything I have read suggests smaller meals more often is better for just about any snake.

They absolutely can, but very large meals put more stress on the snakes body, so that is somethingto consider as well.
