alright, so i LOVE Green Iguanas and i also have a Togo Fire Skink. but i had a Nile Moniter at one point that was named ******* for very good reasons. he was alright, but VERY aggressive and drew blood on myself and my boyfriend many a time. so...as much as i love the beauty of the moniters...i have to say that i would NOT consider that my favorite.

One of the first lizards I ever had a banded basilisk named Spaz. She has got to be my favorite. She is turning 13 soon! -Tim My favorite, though I am totally a gecko girl, is the Eyelash Viper. I mean WOW those colors are amazing! Here's a great pic.

yeah i have seen some fairly aggresive monitors....but they are sooo interesting...as are iguanas, but monitors just apeal to me so much more. Our sav is slowly getting to the point where he doesnt hiss at us or bite anymore... I cant wait till he gets big.If i had more space (which i kind of do now that i have moved!) I might consider getting some other monitors, such as a argus, peach throats, or ackies... I can only hope.

My favorite is easily the Tegus and Ackies. I also love iguanas, and eyespy might i add that is an awesome looking iguana, shes very healthy looking. Unfortunately when i recieved my iguana it was in the time where there were tons imported by the millions, so there wasnt much care. But when i was around 8 i realized that the care was too much and i gave him to a Iguana Rescue(which he has a nice home now if the people still own him).

I am a monitor man myself, but nothing, and I do mean, NOTHING compares to Frilled Lizards. I just got my first one and I am absolutely astounded at how well they settle in, and how easily handled they are. They have the best of the Beardies, Best of the monitors, and not to mention they are down-right cool.

"If you have the means, I highly suggest you pick one up."
