And yes, it's quiet lately in the hobby and of course, the big snakes are the first to be avoided then. Especially with all the rumors about stricter laws coming to The Netherlands (and i'm sure Belgium will follow...). Hope i can get my own retic before the sh*t hits the fan over here

We'll see, i wonder if the laws will pull through. But to be honest, its not like any cop has ever known what they're talking about. I wonder how the hell they're going to uphold it? (I had to explain the inspector which species was what, and which needed what document... Idiot) There is no way i'm getting rid of any animals i already own, they usually don't do that either. And none of them are registered or anything, i have moved since i last kept registered species. Nothing listed at my address, these snakes are here to stay.

Laws of this kind usually are not retroactive, they can't force you to kill the animal. they can force you to sterilyze it or they could take it away from you and if there is no other option they proceed with elimination.
