Re: What's your favourite snake family?
I'd just like to remind people to stay on track. As outlined in the forum rules - religious discussion is not permitted. I know we haven't technically gone there yet, I just want to prevent it before it starts.

Better for what? Are you trying to win an argument? Because I'm really not interested in that.

Re: What's your favourite snake family?
someone in my local herp club posted this on facebook yesterday
Researcher Stumbles Across Oldest Snake Fossils Ever Found In Museum | IFLScience
I think it's pretty interesting. I'd like to hear a consensus on this and some more findings
I like the religious stories too although I worship a flying spaghetti monster so it's more out of "liking stories". Regardless, I didn't want to start a debate. I was just interested in diving further into something that was posted
Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go take a bath with my free-roaming boa

Me too, Pareeeee. I just wanted to say what I like about Boids. I don't want anyone to be offended by my beliefs, just as I'm not offended by theirs.

I know the rules and I do abide by them, but when you ban political and religious discussion, you are making the discussion one sided. There has always been the debate of evolutionist verses creationist and to talk about creationist, religion will come up.
I myself will not participate in this discussion, as I prefer to keep my theories and beliefs to myself and have no intention on trying to change anyone mind.

I would love them one day as well. Pythons are a close third on my list (behind elapidae and viperidae) and Diamonds are at the top of the list right beneath rough scaled pythons.
