Awww, kitties are great. I love my cats even though they are slowly bringing the house down around my ears- I pulled one out of the ductwork the other day. Little buggers tore off the AC access panel in the basement and were running around through the central air system...lol.
But snakes are much less destructive and quieter and less expensive to care for.

shoot many years of baseball and football and soccer and basketball have taken their toll already. my whole body feels like it has been breaking down ever since i turned 20 lol

How To Wash A Cat
1. Thoroughly clean the toilet.

2. Add the required amount of shampoo to the toilet water, and have both lids lifted.

3. Obtain the cat and soothe him while you carry him towards the bathroom.

4. In one smooth movement, put the cat in the toilet and close both lids (you may need to stand on the lid so that he cannot escape). CAUTION: Do not get any part of your body too close to the edge, as his paws will be reaching out for any purchase they can find.

5. Flush the toilet three or four times. This provides a "power wash and rinse" which I have found to be quite effective.

6. Have someone open the door to the outside and ensure that there are no people between the toilet and the outside door.

7. Stand behind the toilet as far as you can, and quickly lift both lids.

8. The now-clean cat will rocket out of the toilet, and run outside where he will dry himself.

I love this joke!!!! and this is what i would do if i had a cat. they are the only animals i really don't like at all.

Yeah, they can be a pain to wash..lol. Giving cats a bath is taking your life in your hands...
I don't think there is an animal I really just don't like. I'm a total animal person. I have tarantulas and scorpions and all. Well, I take that back- I can't stand crickets- I hate getting them for my frogs- they are smushy, they smell like piss and warm rotten guts, they climb on each other and friggin' crush each other and then the gut/piss smell gets worse- and they just swarm and mill about and they are squirmy. Ugh.

I hate crickets more than ANYTHING. I have 5 bearded dragons and a chameleon AND two geckos who all eat them! (And the dragons pack 'em away like no other!) Fortunatley I get them from a breeder not a pet store so they aren't ALL that bad, no stink, they don't constantly die on you, but MAN do they ever chrip at night!...and often during the day as well. I wish I had a roach colony.....

I just buy a few dozen each week and divide them up among the frogs, geckos, scorpion and tarantula so they don't last long enough to really annoy me with chirping. I cant stand to raise them- disgusting smelly little buggers. lol. I'm really pathetic- scorpion doesn't bother me, neither does the tarantula or even the cockroaches I feed my frilled dragon- just the icky crickets.

OK, so clearly you all need to start breeding cockroaches for your insectivores! I hear they make no noise, they don't smell, and they're very nutritious. What more do you want?

NO not cockroaches!!!!! PESTS!!! There are a few different species which don't climb glass, fly, and die in the cold. Those are the ones to get (Dubia roaches are apparently the best). I don't think my family would appreciate a roach colony in the house however; although they are a lot less annoying, haha.
Haha, I know what you're saying Willow; I'll handle all kinds of bugs but the crickets creep me out when they are fully grown. :P
I buy my crickets by the 1000s!! I used to go get 'em from a store but the quality is much less than those from a breeder - and I get them delivered to my door

Chu, I actually have a Dubia blaptica roach colony. I like them - they're neat, they don't smell, they don't chirp and they actually intrigue me- amazingly hardy little buggers. But my geckos are too small to eat them so they go to my frilled dragon. The frogs and the geckos still get the nasty icky crickets. lol.

Yeah, they are a cinch. We have them in a 5-gallon bucket and just cut a potato in half and give it to them every couple of weeks. They get their water and nutrients from the potato and breed and grow like crazy. They're the easiest things I've ever cared for and cheap.

Not to sound like a jerk but you may want to try feeding the roachs other food items as well. Don't forget that what goes into your feeders also goes into your reptiles.
