I am taking my time, If I have to use a carpenter's square and drill pilot holes to get nice straight lines, so be it.
I don't have a nail gun, so I think the pilot holes and a couple sharpie markers will be best.
The Insulation is set up for 16 inch spacing, so I was even thinking of making a couple wood blocks exactly 16 inches long and set the blocks between the boards during assembly to ensure perfect uniform spacing as I nail it together.

It would be awesome to give chomper room to scurry around all day but don't overlook the fact you could have a free roam green anaconda if your basement.

I try talking my wife into let me do this for my male Yellow Anaconda and into getting a female Yellow. So we could breed them and have a basement full of them. She shot me down so fast i felt violated.
