I used to be deathly afraid of spiders until I was sleeping on the couch one day in my parent's house and my dad thought it would be funny to put his tailless whip scorpion on my head. I woke up with it on my face....

I am now not afraid of spiders or any other creepy crawlies, in fact I have even kept some.

If my dad had done that to me, I would have gone through the roof--and I like spiders!! That would have been enough to make me afraid, I think.
