it's hard to tell from the picture posted,so could you take a picture of the eye your worried about,directly from the side of the head,it will give us a better view of the eye mate

Here are photos of both eye. Hope this helps out. How do you guys figure out what % of diamond and jungle they are? I have seen people reference to that in percentages.
Thanks again. I have been misting them pretty good. I think it is a stuck eyecap. May also be some dehydration going on too so I have been misting them down.

it looks almost like the scales around the eyes are dryed out and cracked?

He does still have some dead skin on his head. I am pretty sure that is unsheaded skin around the eyes. How can I remove it? I know that when there is a stuck eye capsule you can use some tape and gently lift it off.

Never use tape to remove suck shed or on anything in your viv it can be very harmful

In the past I have used a damp tea towel to help remove stuck shed. Dampen it with warm water and then let the snake slither through it in your hands whilst applying a little pressure. Not sure how easy it will be to do on the head as I have only done it with some left on the tail and there was a clear edge to work from. I know Shaun has posted in the past in using something specific for retained eye caps so I will have a look and link to it if I can find it (on my phone at the moment so it may take me a little while to find)

Thanks guys! I have been trying to keep the humidity up on them right now but it goes away so fast. I am spraying them down with a water bottle. Now the male is somewhat cage aggressive. The guy told me about this. Yesterday he let me pick him right up out of his cage and then today he was hissing and attempted bite. More of a warning. He could have easily latched on if he wanted to. He did not want to come off of his log in the heat. So we pulled the log/stick out and then let him come off of it. He then let me pick him up and was a total puppy dog! He is so tame once he is out of the cage. I am working with him. They used to feed them in the same cage. So thats what I am thinking is causing this reaction. I am going to feed them in a separate cage so they can associate that cage with food and not there housing cage. Also may be due to the dead skin around his eye. Probably itches like crazy. Anyway thanks for the complements and advice!!!

The feeding in another cage theory is untrue mate. Something we all fell for at some point but logically.

The theory says that if you feed in viv then the snake will associate the door opening eith food and become aggressive.

Taking this logic if you feed outside the viv then the snake will associate being removed from the viv with food and become aggressive.

My carpet is viv DEFENSIVE and doesnt like being taken out but once he is out he is fine. It has taken two years to get to the point where we can get him out without biting.

Thanks so much for the correction! That does make sense. So I should feed them in the cage then? Will he stop doing the cage aggression thing? The female is just awesomely tame in and out of the cage.

The thing to remember is they are reptiles not mammals, they will never be "tame" or "trained", however some snakes will come to tolerate handling and being taken from their vivs with no issue. Some however will always be either defensive just in the viv or just ornery buggers that will bite for fun
