Sorry about your loss! My big question why were you feeding a ball bython pinkies? Unless its a rat pinkie that snake should have been on a good size mouse

i assume the seller advised on prey type/size,and the op trusted the seller..

imo the op had some crap advice from a terrible seller.....

sorry for your loss mate

if you want to get another snake,make a thread asking about which species you intend to buy...

you will get all the relevent advice on here,then set your tank up run it for a week without a snake in it,all the time checking temps humidity etc

if everything remains stable and correct..

then buy a snake from a reputable breeder in your area,we have folks from all over your country on here,so i'm sure someone will be able to recomend a good breeder
