Re: King and Milk Snake Morphs
I'm not familiar with what's available up there, but have you checked classifieds and such? The beautiful albino kingsnake I might get is one that the girl was selling on Craigslist because she decided she liked her BP better.

Do they have Reptile Expos up there? I always found an incredible selection at the local shows here in Ohio. It's like going to a colubrid candy store. One of my favorite colubrids, an everglade rate snake, was purchased at such a show for a whopping $15.
I'm not going to recommend anything in particular, because your choices are almost endless, and the snakes' temperament will depend on the individual snake.

Re: King and Milk Snake Morphs
I used to have a California Kingsnake. Very very easy first snake. He was great for me for about 3 years and then he began to hate me and love my dad more. Every time I would take him out he would bite me but with my dad he was perfectly fine. Great snake, he was a Lavender Albino California Kingsnake.

Re: King and Milk Snake Morphs
Myself, i love Gray Banded Kings. Mine has been extremely easy to care for, he is a monster eating machine, and has a great temperament.

Re: King and Milk Snake Morphs
Too be honest I love all of these snakes that you guys mentioned it all depends on what I can find as I said before. The expo's here are almost all ball pythons so its almost impossible to find anything else and also there is a lack of breeders in Alberta or even in Canada. I am fine with shipping but I can't even find a king and milk breeder in Canada.

Re: King and Milk Snake Morphs
My new Tangerine Honduran Milk is calm as can be. I think it all depends on the individual snake really (and how you handle them I assume). When I was searching for my first snake I found a couple corns to be very snappy and found a king and a couple milks that were very calm, so it varies a lot.
