Re: October Photo Contest DISCUSSION
Got to submit a picture <3
Such a lovely surprise to come home this morning to halloween decorations all over the place, took about 5 minutes to take a pretty sweet shot of Valentine squeezing a little skeleton ghoul decoration haha. She didn't want to let go of it (not a feeding squeeze, but it was still funny). Didn't have her out for long, it wasn't chilly for me but no doubt it was for her. she's now back in her warm home.

Re: October Photo Contest DISCUSSION
Shaunyboy,
I tweaked the saturation a little bit because it was overcast, to try and make her colors look more like they do in person, but some computers show pictures different. It looks natural on mine, because she does have a slight blue hue to her black - but I can tone it down / post the original version. I didn't do much. Is it that obvious on your screen?

You are not suppose to alter your picture at all for the contests...

Re: October Photo Contest DISCUSSION
I thought I had read somewhere that we were allowed to do slight alterations, If I misread, my mistake. I'll message Alessia and ask her if we were allowed to or not - either way I would like her to change the image as I realize now that the one I posted wasn't very natural, and it is too late for me to edit the image myself.
It's not like I went into photoshop and added objects to the image.
I went back and found the post i had read, as in the August contest Wildside asked about editing photos. I'll still shoot Alessia a message to see if she can put in the replacement (toned down) image and if it is appropriate.
