Not always... they're range is too big and the difference between endemic population is mind blowing. It was the eyes that was throwing me off and the juvenile colouration.
Spotted's usually have the orange eyes and stimsons the green. It's a great looking snake the OP has and wether stimson or spotted it's a cracker ![Smilie](http://www.ssnakess.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif) .
I love all Antaresia species and I think they are severely underrated on your side of the pond mate. I'm hoping to get my hands on a few more pairs myself.
