Re: Hello all from Idaho, USA.

Those ratsnakes are sick-looking! Are they hard to keep?

(I don't mean they look unhealthy)

Re: Hello all from Idaho, USA.

Oops! Looks like the garter picture didn't go, could swear it was there when I posted it. Oh well, here he is.

The Bamboo rat is awesome! I should be getting his future girlfriend in just a little while, once she's had a few meals and whenever the weather will cooperate. They actually require very similar care in temps and humidity to crested geckos. They DO NOT do well in temps over 82 degrees and need near constant humidity around 60% to 80%. Cypress mulch works good as a substrate. They are great feeders on rodents, so great they are actually known to be a bit bitey, mistaking anything that moves as a meal. Atari has only bitten me once, didn't break the skin or hurt, right after being fed while I was trying to get him back in his viv. I regard that one as my fault. They grow fast but are a smaller snake, I believe males are supposed to average around 2 1/2 feet to 3 feet and females are a bit bigger.

And here is the rest of the snake gang.
The newest addition, a present to my husband. It's unnamed and unsexed for the moment.

Smaug, the Hypo Tangerine milksnake. This is an older picture, he's much bigger now.

Atticus, the male Western Hognose.

That's all the snakes I believe.

Re: Hello all from Idaho, USA.

Just thought I'd go ahead and introduce my gargoyle geckos and crested adults here too.
Luxor one of my male crested.

Maui, female.

Miami, the other male. He and Maui were paired up this year.

And Cairo, my other female. She and Luxor were paired this year as well.
