Re: Closest view of a tick youll probably ever see

The vile beast is probably full of blood in the pictures....*shudder*
I went hiking in MD with my fiance last summer and when we came out of the woods there were ticks all over my pants and shirt. Before I knew what I was doing, I was sobbing and stripping off my clothes. Luckily I had a bathing suit on underneath, but I think I cried the entire car ride home. I was still finding the rotten creatures in my car a week later.

Really, what purpose do they serve??? I mean, ticks don't pollinate anything like bees do, they don't eat other pests, they don't help plants....all they do is suck blood and spread horrendous diseases like Lyme around. I think they are seriously evil.

Same with mosquitos...no purpose in the world other than bothering animals and spreading diseases!

Mosquitos and ticks are soooo gross and annoying! Agreed! I will never forget the gore of finding that one engorged one. We didn't know what to do to kill it either...we did NOT want to squish it *BLAH* lol
