Re: Cali King
All my coworkers keep telling me how they saw all the snakes on their daily walks, and I don't see one even if I'm looking for it

Re: Cali King
I know that area as well. Funny thing is, when I was in Tracy, the only wild snake I ever saw was a Garter, and a little one at that.

Re: Cali King
Nice shots RhandyRoads! I once saw a hawk, on the ground 10ft away from me, standing on the ground pecking at the cali king it had just caught, but after I backed off to let nature take its course it flew off leaving the crippled snake to slither off into the brush. Too bad I didn't have a camera on me at the time.

Re: Cali King
this time of year they are on the east side of the freeway crossing to the west side until mid summer then you dont see to many til about late sept.....then they start crossing back to theast side of the free way. late oct. it gets so bad that i start going out of my way to drive back and forth on the freeway at dask trying to get them before they get smashed and drop them off on the other side (kinda goofy thing to do with my spare time )

Oh man people are assholes! I love the names though! I'm driving up to Sac next weekend so I'll probably be on the look out and maybe stop for a bit haha.
