for sure, just not as drastic a change as going from some of the bigger sizes to the next. They can be close in weight, or they can be far apart.

I would, 20 bucks and its nice to keep track of various weighs. Not near as much fun as a temp gun.

The size is close but rat pinks are slightly bigger than mouse fuzzies. (3-8g)

Its always great to have a gram scale handy, to answer your other question.

Re: Zeus' first fuzzie!

If Zeus was able to take that fuzzy as I see that he could, I would stick with that for now. It did leave a little bulge and thats fine. Keep an eye on his girth and judge for yourself when the next best time for an upgrade is. I would also like to say, from someone who breeds both rats and mice, get him to rats ASAP. They are much more satisfying and there is much more to them than mice. With BRBs its not so much of an issue but Ive heard horror stories about how some snakes are stuck on mice even when they get a little size on them. The sooner you get him switched to rats the easier it will be to do so.

Re: Zeus' first fuzzie!

ExWizard is right. I know someone who had a snake that insisted no rats. Which seems fine, until you realize it was a fully adult boa constrictor. The poor guy had to buy like 25 mice at one sitting....

That rule, while I understand why it exists, nearly had me pulling my hair out last night....

Re: Zeus' first fuzzie!

Well I'm doing fuzzies for 4-5 feedings and then switching to rat pinks. That has been the plan all along
