There is 2 rows of 5 holes on each side. So I'm good?

Re: What kind of glue?

Yeah, I would think so. Just see how it holds heat and humidity and either add holes or cover them up as necessary.
I'm gonna close the store, I'll be back on when I get home.

You know that sounds like a lot of work to make a bad cage into a working one. Here's a better idea for future snakes.

Step 1. Buy a tub that's taller than you'd normally use.
Step 2. Cut side out of tub and attach a plexiglass "window"
Step 3. Profit

How is that less work than cramming a piece of plexiglas on top of an already set up glass enclosure?

This is a temporary home until I build a custom one. I already had then tank so all I had to buy is a sheet of plexi and drill holes into it.

Do you think my set up with the plexi works?

I'm hardly an expert but it seems like a nice looking and functional solution to your issue. Easier than trying to make plexi stick to a tub IMO.

Re: What kind of glue?

Both seem equally easy to be honest. I get what Aaron means and think its actually a fantastic idea. I might go get some non-see through tubs and see what I can come up with. Might even find a way to make them front opening.

Re: What kind of glue?

Oh hey I don't think it's a bad idea. I just think if you already have nice looking glass aquarium, why would you bother getting a bin and gluing a window in the side? Really a moot discussion I guess and to some degree a matter of taste (I think a bin with a window would be a bit of an eyesore compared to a glass tank).

Re: What kind of glue?

I don't mind my bins, they're handy and really don't look bad at all.
