Re: Locality BCI, what do you keep?
I wanted a smaller insular locality boa, so I did a bunch of research and settled on a Hog Island. She's about 7 months old and has been a joy to keep. She's very docile, curious to a fault (ask my wife about the "printer incident" ), has a great feeding response, and I love her ability to change color. She's been a great addition to the family!

I love Hog Islands and have a female myself, they are pushing the upper limits for me on 'dwarf boa' size but I had to fit one or two into the collection!!!

I'm hoping she stays about 6' max, but no biggie if she ends up a bit larger. I've seen both her parents, and mom was a shade under 6' and dad was a shade over 5', so I'm holding out hope! But like I said, she's been a great addition, and even 7' wouldn't really bother me. I had a male Peruvian BCC many years ago that topped out at just under 7.5', so I've certainly been there before.
