I'm so sorry! Sounds like you've done all you can do, although my corn snake book suggests the following ideas:

Place live baby mice in a bucket filled with substrate and a hide from the cage so the snake recognizes its own smell. The idea being they smell the food, eat, and then snug down in the bedding to digest.

The other way is to fashion a sort of "fish trap" for the snake so he can crawl in but can't crawl out. Take a piece of PVC pipe and 2 pieces of stiff paper. Roll the paper into cones and cut out a hole big enough for the snake to crawl into. Tape the cones inside the PVC pipe so the point of the cones point inside. This way when the snake crawls in, he can't find the opening easily because he'll be bumping against the bottom of the cone with no opening. Lay the trap along any room perimeter; it's more likely he'll be moving around walls and not in the center. You can go a step further and bait the trap either with food odor or live bait.

Can't say from experience these techniques work, but it's advice from a published source (Kathy and Bill Love).

No unfortunately no snake

Not giving up though I still have my fingers crossed.

He may still show up! I've heard stories of escapees showing up a month later.. good thing snakes can live a while without food..

My last royal escaped and was gone for months. After we had given up hope of finding her, she appeared again right in plain sight and almost got stepped on. She was dehydrated and the vet told me to what to do until I could get her in the next day for a check up. Other than still being a little dehydrated she had a good check up.

Don't give up hope. He can still turn up at any time.

Yeah I know, my boyfriend had a baby boa escape in the house for a little over a year when he was a child. It showed up wrapped around the bed post of his parents bed lol. The scary thing was it had almost doubled in size! He explained to his mom that it was a good thing it was gone for so long because it lived off the mice in the house, that why it was so big. She never had a problem with him owning snakes again.

Check hampers, too! I thought (given his size) Vermicelli couldn't get out of my room with the door shut, so when he escaped a couple months ago, I mostly just looked in my room. He ended up being in my younger sister's hamper behind another shut door

Oh I do!! It takes me twice as long to sort laundry because I go though every piece of clothing individually.
