She should be pretty much done growing, she might add on some inches and some pounds, but won't be much.

as much as I would love to have some of the full sized ones, they're simply impractical at this point in my life. I just simply don't have the room for an enclosure big enough for one yet. Plus I think my roommates would kill me. They don't know about this one yet.

I think I actually prefer the dwarf ones. Good things come in (relatively) small packages.

I made a pretty sweet snake hook out of a broken golf club

Lol, I think my dad has one I could steal from him, that's not a bad idea. Mind posting a picture or sharing how you did that?

Well that was interesting... She was NOT in a good mood this afternoon. Nearly got tagged a dozen times or so just changing her water. She seemed relatively calm until I had to move her to get her water bowl out and back in. I think its time I invest in a good quatlity hook because I know I don't want to be on the receiving end of her teeth.

Yikes, definitely something to consider getting (the hook). Imagine when she's bigger!

Is she going into shed? Both mine are pissy as hell when they're going into shed. They act like they're going to tag me when I clean their cages or even change their water when in shed.

I still suggest using a snake hook or something similar until she learns to trust you. She could just still be trying to adjust. What's the previous owner's experience with her with handling, etc?

I still need to get a real hook. I have one of those cheap retractable ones.
I think I'll ask for one for my birthday, it's coming up.
