I always find it really difficult to lose a pet, but with Diesel, I actually feel pretty good about it. I know it was his time, and I know he lived a full life. He didn't wither away like some older animals do, he never suffered. I don't think you're being inconsiderate at all.

Re: Goodbye Diesel

Great looking argentine boa, must have been his time. You took great care of him clearly.

Re: Goodbye Diesel

I'm sorry he had to pass away, but I'm happy he passed of old age in the care of someone who cared.

I totally agree here... how awesome is it for an animal/pet to live to its full life expectancy? he was an extremely lucky guy and in that obviously well cared for and happy. You did well, its a terrible loss definitely not to be denied, Im sure you will miss him.

Btw He was gorgeous

Re: Goodbye Diesel

While I am sorry to hear of his passing, I am sure he lived a good life in your care. I believe you were both very lucky to have come accross one another. Argentines are on my wish list but I believe they are on the CITES list and difficult to come by.
