From what i've read and experience ETBs arent as fragile. When i bought mine from the breeder he took out a few neonates for me to look at and handle. He is a very reputable breeder so i don't think he would do anything to harm his animals since it would cost him money. I bought my little guy at about a month old and I started handling him about two weeks after i brought him home. You just have to be careful like any other baby.
