You don't even need gel to make his hair into a mohawk! Hahaha! My mom loves to put pink bows on him. Poor Jimmy I think he sometimes gets confused about his gender. Hahahaha!

Re: Anyone have bunnies?

they really are cute, dunno if I would want to own one though, I like my cats, and I generally view them like most of you guys view mice and rats, food. But I think I would rather own a rabbit than a rat.

Thats understandable. snakes need to eat too. both rats and bunnies make great pets. honestly though I think a rat would make a better pet. I had a couple of them and they were awesome. They are smarter than bunnies and more manageable and aren't as high maintenance as bunnies coould be.
In your condition, with the cats I mean, I'd get a bunnie over a rat. cats like the smell of rats and try to eat them. Well from my experience. rats are more social too.

Maybe rats are smarter than bunnies, but are they more fun? Browsing Youtube a few days ago I came across a whole new side of the rabbit world. Check out this video... They definitely know what they're doing! And it looks so awesomely fun too Some of those rabbits really have great agility! Skip to minute 6:57 which is when the champion rabbit takes his turn.

Re: Anyone have bunnies?

I use to have a beautiful bunny named Thumper. I think I was 5 at the time. I named him Thumper because like on Bambi, his foot was always thumping. He looked like a calico cat in coloring, white with large spots of orange, black, and brown. My parents didn't lock him up properly before we left to go somewhere one night and when we got back my cat had gotten to him. I'm not going to describe the condition he was in, needless to say they took him outside and used a shovel to kill him and bury him. I didn't get any more rabbits after that and the saddest part, since I was so young, that is the only memory I have of Thumper other than the day I named him.

Well, we did have Bugs & Bunny, white rabbits, and I enjoyed playing with them, but I never got attached to them. Turned out to be a good thing because one day my parents offered me some food, I ate it and asked what it was, they told me, "That was Bugs, and this is Bunny" picking up pieces of meat...UGH!!!

Re: Anyone have bunnies?

I can totally relate Zara... I used to have 2 guinea pigs, and one day they became dinner. My family is mostly Peruvian, and guinea pig is normal to eat there... when my parents decided that my brother and I weren't paying enough attention to them, they grilled them. I refused to eat them and got sent up to my room without dinner, lol

Re: Anyone have bunnies?

^^^^NO WAY!!! I have always wanted to try Guinea pig. Seriously. I had some neighbors from Argentina when I lived in ln LA. They had a BBQ once that included the whole cow. The head was wrapped in leaves then buried in the ground. They started the fire over the head. When the cow was done they dug out the head. It was pretty good.

Re: Anyone have bunnies?

We use to have a little bunny cant remember its name because my kids changed it every other day. but we took it back to the pet store right before we moved to NC because the kids stop taking care of it, I miss it more then the kids do lol, but i hope to get a few next year for breeding food for my bigger snakes.

Re: Anyone have bunnies?

AWE! That video was so cute man! I wonder how they train them to do that.

and for those of you that have, how the hell could you eat a cute little bunny and know its a bunny your shoving in your face? [not towards you who didn't know, thats just wrong.]

Sorry if I offended anyone. I just don't understand how people could do that, its understandable for a snake but
I don't even eat cows or pigs much less a cute little bunny!

Ranch/farm life. Rabbits are raised for food. It's normal when you are raised that way. All animals are/can be a food source, it depends on how you were raised. A city slicker wouldn't think about having to cut the head off a chicken and ripping it's feathers out and when faced with having to do it odds are good they would NOT like it one bit. I was raised doing it and as long as I have my gloves, it doesn't bother me in the least.
