I paid 20 for mine :P
used of course

Re: right type of questions?

I have been using 100 and 150 watt red flood lights for heating my tanks and they cost 5 bucks each. Just saying

Re: right type of questions?

I bought a 45 gallon, 2 lights(which i broke because i dropped them both after i made sure they worked), and 2 hoods that go onto both sides, all for 20 bucks at a yard sale. But, most people on craigslist try to charge at least 100 dollars for a 55 gallon, and theyre usually covered in dried algae and hard water stains.

yesterday i saw someone asking 300 dollars for 55 gallon and a metal stand.

Re: right type of questions?

Well I might not be getting it. I think I'm getting a 3 foot female hog island boa with a 40 gallon set up for $180.

But I'm glad its a 40 because I want to make her a bigger enclosure and use the 40 for geckos :3 or fish <3

Re: right type of questions?

No worries, at 3 feet she'll be fine in the 40 breeder for a while. Post up details on the setup and pictures if you can.

Re: right type of questions?

Slow down and research a particular animal you want. You are jumping from species to species.
