Re: A Quick Scare

The clips I have are kind of like a c-clip. On one end of the C there is a flat part that hooks under the rim of the screen lid. The other end of the clips locks into the plastic rim around the top of the tank.

If there are other kinds I would try them but these types seem like they don't have enough pressure in them to keep a big snake from getting out or even a tiny snake like DB was from pushing the top just enough to wedge it's head under it. Theres like 1/4" of give before you feel the tension from the clips.

Re: A Quick Scare

I got 4 clips, one for each side of the lid, and I can lift the whole cage up by the lid that way. I can't pull the lid off using all my strength, so I don't think Pika can either

I don't know about the rest of you but I believe ball pythons are generally too lazy to be rebels. My collection is eating and not escaping

Rack system FTW! (suckers :P)

I have the same issue with Cici! She's shed on the 26th for the past two month. A week and a half ago, Ger color was dingy, and although I never saw her "in blue" I presumed (never assume!) she'd she'd in the next few days. Well, her color is back, but no shed! Humidity is up (the ReptiFogger is on low almost all day in her 10gal. home. Still no shed.

On tge brighter side, Lucy shed just fine a couple days ago.
Is the barometric pressure off from the norm, or what's going on?
