Thanks everyone for your comments. Being this is my first litter, I have no plans on selling any of them.

Cute babies, only thing is, wouldn't it be better to use cypress or bark to help hold humidity? I use a mixtures of 1 bag cypress and 1 block of eco earth in my boa's 50 gallon.

I've used aspen for 30 years and never had a problem with humidity. But then again I have a snake room that I heat and humidify. I also keep my snakes in tubs, which keeps humidity very well. Honestly keeping heat and humidity level at the proper levels is a beginners problem, any experience keeper should know how to regulate these things.

Not sure what humisity they need but aspen is reported to mould quite easily whereas bark will absorb moisture when sprayed and then release it over time.

As I stated, I do not rely on my bedding to supply my humidity. I humidify the room. By controlling the rooms temp., humidity and ventilation, I do not have to worry about each enclosure separately. I do not have sick snake or shedding issues and I have bred snakes with no problems. It works for me. If something else works for you, then go with it. I not rying to switch or convince anyone to do what I do.
