Yea, that had me confused too cause I always though they had live young and there you are showing us infertile eggs.

The eggs remain inside the mother and gestate inside her, upon birthing the only "shell" is a thin membrane that the baby must break through.
Some don't.

I watched them and they were very interesting. I'm getting into breeding snakes and for the next few years I'm going to focus on corn snakes, other North American rat snakes and ball pythons, but I will definitely have to get into garters some day. Anyway, thanks!
