Alex, in my opinion you noticed the change because of the routine change and not because of where you fed her. My snakes all seem to react well to a consistent routine not only in when they get fed but the process and procedure we follow for feeding each of them.

I use my SD retic as an example as he has the biggest change in posture. I can stick my hand into his viv and pick him up at any time with no issues at all, he has never struck at me in his viv BUT present a plastic plate which is the start of our feeding procedure and i will NOT put any part of my body into the viv at all. All my guys are like this but his reaction is by far the most different to his normal behaviour.

I feel that if i changed any of their routines then i would notice a difference in their attitude as they would be ina new situation.

i feed mine in a rubber maid with paper tower, only because i prefer not feeding them in there substrate. works good for me
