Yes is the simple answer!! Post pics of animals in the relevant sections and you already posted a pic of yourself in the right place.

Thanks marvelfreak! I'll post pics of my corns later today. And I agree, I feel the same about lipstick sunglows, I think they are absolutely some of the prettyiest boas around! I am eagerly awaiting his arrival, but I found out last night that shipping will be delayed until next Wednesday - so please bear with me on the pics - 7.5 days and counting!! lol

Thank you radstusky! I am in Ottawa, Ontario. Not the biggest reptile community here, sadly, Toronto and Montreal seem better for that. But oh well, a little road trip here and there doesn't hurt

Actually, Ottawa has a decent reptile community. There is a group called OARA (Ottawa reptile and amphibian association) I've been a member for a while and they are great. It's only 25$/year and you get pretty cool newsletters and a great forum. A bunch of us go herping at least once a month!
There are also fantastic herping areas in the ottawa/gatineau area!

No way! I had no idea - I will definitely look into joining OARA, thanks Stephan Thanks so much for that info - I would LOVE to go herping with a group, I've always wanted to do that - the most I've ever done is turn over logs and rocks in search of salamanders in the Charleston Lake area, frog and toad "hunting", and "rescuing" red bellies, garters and turtles off the road LOL

I'm just a hop skip and a jump away from you! Well 7 1/2 hours or so, in Boston.

That's not TOO far - I like taking a drive to visit friends in N.Y. at least once a year, it takes around 9 hours. Road trips are fun - well, I should say only when they involve other people in the car with you
