Make sure the "couple of days" you leave him is seven - he will be fine for a week, or a month or even more without feeding.
I sit right next to my GTP for upto 20 hours a day and rarely see him move! That is part of the reason for only feeding every 14 days - they dont really burn much energy off.

sounds good guy! i ll leave him alone! thank you all of u ..u would be worry too if it comes to YOUR animals...i know its hard to understand ..lol but i ll def provide the best for my pets..i ll keep you guys updated if things go wrong!! thanks!

by the way..after a few days of thinking what to name this NEW GUY..finally ..i decided ..GALAXY..?? sounds ok? was gonna name him skittles..or hitman..since he striked me like 5 or more times..lol

lol, i have gotten many new animals and not once have i freaked out and assumed they are going to die. (even if they DO miss a feed!)
everyone here provides the best for their pet. worrying about hypotheticals and freaking out for no reason is pointless. it might even lead you to do things to "help" your snake that aren't necesary because there probably isn't anything wrong.

Yes always try not to worry......as hard as it is. I had a boa go 4 1/2 mnths without food, he was perfectly healthy and never showed any signs of health concerns.....and than one day he decided to eat, scarfed it down too!!! You are quite passionate, as most of us are! I find though it's best to not stress out!!!

No he actually is quite healthy never lost no weight, I had him checked out twice through out the 5 mnths and I was told he is fine.....he will eat when hes ready. I have never had him sexed and I am quite sure He/she just went off food for the winter months..once he/she poops I will probably get it checked out aswell I'm confident he's ok

oh nice! good to hear that!! i have never taken any snakes to vet before.. what r the average cost on visits?? u sounded like u go to vet quite often huh? lol
