Re: Ahaetulla prasina info please...
Hi there!
I got new pics!
Unfortunately she didn't shed well, so I had to remove the shed by myself and she got really angry when I was doing it! She even bit me a couple times(I had gloves so nothing happened)!
So here are the pics:

It is very difficult to catch the real color of the snake in the photographs, she looks very yellow in those pics, indeed she is very green, with the UV light she seems to have a blue glow in the skin, it's simply incredible!
Greetings

ABSOLUTELY STUNNING SNAKE! The head shape, the eyes, the colors, AMAZING! And that pattern is unbelievable, almost like a pixelated snake!
Thanks for sharing!

You don't need to worry if she gets ahold of you. Vine snakes are not known to be harmful to humans- their venom is too weak and the amount delivered too small. Unless you had a rare freak allergy to it, you'll be fine. Also they are so tiny the bites don't really hurt much.

Thanks, I love it, and you got to see the colors in real life, they are very more astonishing! The patterns she presents is only visible when she gets mad, but anyway is great hehe.

Thanks for letting me know that, then I won't be so reluctant to handle her with bare hands, but eitherway I wouldn't like to be bitten haha..

Re: Ahaetulla prasina info please...
Everybody says that about this VENOMOUS snake but nobody realizes that it HAS killed at least one person. The twig snake has as well. The boomslang was once thought to be non-dangerous but look at how we view that snake now. Please, for everyone's safety, let's not presume a snake won't kill you just because it's expected to be non-dangerous.

Totally agree, even if the venom is considered mild it's always good to take some safety precautions..

Not to step on any toes but I believe that snake to be a Ahaetulla nasuta and not a Ahaetulla prasina. You sure on the name?
I love them for their horizontal pupil!
