If anything it tends to get more purple
I didn't mean to come across like I was having a go, just trying to help with the genetics

Re: My new lavender albino red-tail boa
Kittimer. I was going to suggest this name because I like the sound of it and it has a Star trek link (I`m a Star trek fan) but.... How strange is this? After looking into another avenue for you, translating various words to see if there are any nice sounding foriegn words you could use and guess what Kittimer means! Go on guess! It means Putty in Estonian !! Mad eh... I quite like to have criptic meanings within my names so I really like that one
Also Slang, that`s Dutch for snake

Re: My new lavender albino red-tail boa
I don't particularly care for Star Trek...I was thinking Spectrum as a possibility too, since he's got so many colors to him.
Bladeblaster, I know you weren't having a go. I honestly haven't ever heard of the lavender albino boa before, and was wondering if anyone knew of it. Whatever his genetics, the colors are stunning, and hopefully will pass on to future offspring.

Re: My new lavender albino red-tail boa
He is a pretty good size- about 3 or so feet long. He is two years old, so he will probably be able to breed this upcoming season, if I feel either of my ladies are ready for it. I have a female Nicaraguan boa and a female Colombian salmon hypo het anery possible het albino.

Re: My new lavender albino red-tail boa
Lol. I don't think he minds....he does have some very light pastel coloration. I hope he makes some nice babies. I may have to get a female albino too at some point here...lol.
